In September 2012 the CPF elected a new EXCO. As the previous EXCO was ineffective, it has been a long, uphill battle but there are some achievements to be reported.  Some of the Challenges being Experienced are:

  • Confidence of the community in the EXCO's ability,
  • Personalities that value themselves higher than the bigger picture,
  • a Poorly organised structure,
  • Irregular meetings by some sectors,
  • difficulty in obtaining documents and minutes.

These are but a few of the issues discussed.Download the Feedback report here (Afrikaans) for all the feedback.

Even so, wildfires are a natural occurrence and for some plants a necessity for their survival. We therefore need to manage these fires by predicting, preventing, responsible use and control of Fires.
